Nicole Richie and Joel Madden got engaged. Hot 99.5 morning show deejay Kane announced to the crowd, “He got engaged yesterday. Congratulations, Joel!” as Madden was walking offstage. He was at the Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Va., which was hosted by Perez Hilton on friday night, performing with his band Good Charlotte.
