Former Charmed actress Rose McGowan will act in a action movie, which is Red Sonja. This movie is to be produced by her fiancé Robert Rodriguez.
Studio exec said “This is an amazing property and film for our company. Working with the talented Robert Rodriguez, having Rose McGowan as Red Sonja and Douglas Aarniokoski directing is a fantastic combination. We could not be happier.”
For those of you who don’t know much about Rose McGowan, don’t worry GirlRetro is here to fill you in. Most of you will know her from the TV show Charmed where she played Paige Mathews. However she has done lots more than this, including starring in numerous films and gracing the covers of lots of magazines. She really is one of those versatile people who can turn their hand to anything and pull it off perfectly.
She is considered by many to be a woman with a lot of style. It is her unique sense of style and ability to steer away from the crowd but still look amazing that makes us love her so much. She’s one cool girl and a great actress and we can’t wait to see her in Red Sonja.
This movie will start shoot in October.
